The ANZAC Day Clash between Frankston YCW FC and Karingal FC took place on Sat 25th April. The rivalry between these two clubs is fierce and this occasion was no different, as we watched them battle it out for the Inaugural Berenger—Watts ANZAC Cup. Prior to the Game both teams took part in a full RSL Service with Senior Vice President, Brent Clyne, reciting the ode. Two students from Patterson River Secondary College attended also and performed the National Anthem. It was a close game from start to finish with YCW walking away with the cup at the very end. Both teams put in a tremendous effort and Frankston RSL are proud to be associated with both these teams and look forward to this ANZAC Round clash for many years to come.
